Legal Data protection
Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 13, 2026 · Applies to makovskateam.com
1. Who we are
MakovskaTeam Sp. z o.o. ("we", "us", "MakovskaTeam"), a company registered in Poland, is the data controller for personal data collected through makovskateam.com. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at [[email protected]], by phone at +48 604 531 579, or by post at ul. Adama Bochenka 12C/LU1, 30-693 Kraków, Poland.
2. What data we collect
| Source | Data collected | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Free diagnostic (quiz) | Name, email address, your answers and calculated scores | To follow up with relevant recommendations and content |
| Contact / booking links | Whatever you choose to share via email or Calendly (name, email, meeting details) | To respond to your enquiry and schedule a call |
| Cookies & analytics | Pages visited, device/browser type, approximate location, referral source | To understand site usage and improve the site (see §5) |
We do not knowingly collect any special-category data (health, political opinions, religion, etc.) through this site, and we don't ask for it.
3. Why we process your data (legal basis)
- Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) – for submitting one of our free diagnostics and for non-essential cookies/analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time (see §8).
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) – for essential site functionality and responding to enquiries you initiate.
- Contract / pre-contract steps (Art. 6(1)(b)) – if your enquiry leads to a service agreement with us.
4. Our free diagnostics
When you complete one of our free diagnostics – the marketing diagnostic for experts and entrepreneurs, or the website & AI-search diagnostic for businesses with an existing site – your name, email and answers/scores are sent to our email marketing platform, SendPulse (sendpulse.com), which acts as our data processor. SendPulse adds you to a dedicated contact list and may send you a small number of relevant follow-up emails. You can unsubscribe from these at any time via the link in any email, or by contacting us directly. See SendPulse's own privacy policy for how they handle data on our behalf: sendpulse.com/privacy-policy.
5. Cookies & analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. Analytics cookies are only set after you give consent via the cookie banner – if you decline, no analytics cookies are placed and no data is sent to Google for that visit. Google may process this data outside the EU/EEA under its own safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses); see Google's policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Strictly necessary cookies (for basic site functioning) are set regardless of consent, as permitted under the ePrivacy rules.
| Cookie / storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Cookie-consent choice | Remembers your cookie preference | 12 months |
| Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) | Distinguishes visitors, measures site usage | Up to 14 months |
6. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the site and our business, under data-processing agreements, and only to the extent needed:
- SendPulse – email delivery and marketing automation for our free diagnostics
- Google Analytics – site-usage analytics (only after cookie consent)
- Calendly (or equivalent) – call scheduling, if you choose to book a call
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
7. How long we keep your data
Diagnostic submissions and related email-marketing data are kept for 2 years from your last interaction, or until you unsubscribe/request deletion, whichever is sooner. Contract and invoicing records are kept as required by Polish tax and accounting law (generally 5 years). Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' own settings (see §5).
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that already happened
- Lodge a complaint with Poland's data protection authority, the UODO (Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych) – uodo.gov.pl – or with your own country's supervisory authority
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [[email protected]]. We'll respond within one month, as required by law.
9. Children
This site and our services are directed at business owners and professionals, not children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
10. AI transparency
Content on parts of this site may be produced or assisted by AI tools as part of our own workflow. Where you interact with an automated assistant or chatbot on our behalf, we will make that clear, in line with the EU AI Act's transparency requirements.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or our tools change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
